Biography

Emanuela Clementi directs the Regional Ocean Forecasting Division at CMCC in Italy, boasting a decade of expertise in operational numerical forecasting. Her focus lies in Mediterranean Sea dynamics and current-wave interactions.

Presently, she oversees the Copernicus Mediterranean Monitoring and Forecasting Center, leading the development, implementation, and validation of a coupled wave-current numerical modeling system for the region.
