Biography

Keith Hutchinson is Head of the Professional Technical and Engineering Services (PTES) sector at Safinah Group, providing commercial and offshore marine consultancy to global clients. With a 35-year career as a ship designer and naval architect, he has been at the forefront of developing solutions for various design challenges, including two decades focused on the design, conversion, and upgrade of mining ships.

Keith has published over 65 technical papers and has delivered numerous presentations and lectures. He is a member of several industrial technical committees and professional organizations within the maritime and engineering sectors.
